ダクトの加工まで完了したカウルにメタルプライマーを吹き付け、十分に乾燥させます。
その後、サーフェーサーを吹き付け、乾燥したら表面を確認し、気になる箇所を整形・補修していきます。
Once the duct modifications are complete, a coat of metal primer is applied to the bodywork and allowed to dry thoroughly.
A coat of surfacer is then applied. After it has dried, the surface is carefully inspected and any areas that require further reshaping or repair are corrected.
カウルファスナーがモールドで再現されていますが、別パーツで表現するため、モールド部分を削り落としていきます。
The cowling fasteners are molded directly into the bodywork, but since they will be replaced with separate parts, the molded details are carefully removed.

この段階で、実車資料を参考に正確な位置を確認し、ピンバイスで取り付け位置の印を付けておきます。
All of the molded cowling fasteners have been removed.
At this stage, the exact positions are marked with a pin vise based on reference photos of the real car, preparing the bodywork for the installation of the separate fasteners.
リアのサイドパネルとメインカウルの接合部分がきれいに収まるよう、各部を整形してフィッティングを調整します。
The joint between the rear side panels and the main bodywork is carefully reshaped and adjusted to ensure a clean and precise fit.
リアのサイドパネル内側にある押出ピンの跡も、きれいに補修しておきます。
The ejector pin marks on the inside of the rear side panels are also carefully filled and smoothed.
サイドダクトも同様に、表面や形状を整えておきます。
The side ducts are also carefully reshaped and finished in the same manner.
続いて、フロントノーズも同様に各部を整形していきます。
Next, the front nose is also carefully reshaped and finished in the same manner.
整形が完了したら各パーツを洗浄し、再度サーフェーサーを吹き付けて十分に乾燥させます。
その後、表面全体を確認して最終的な下地を整え、数日間しっかりと乾燥させるため保管しておきます。
Once all the reshaping is complete, the parts are thoroughly cleaned and another coat of surfacer is applied, followed by sufficient drying time.
The entire surface is then carefully inspected and the final surface preparation is completed before the parts are set aside for several days to fully cure.
グレーサーフェーサーが完全に乾燥したら、フェラーリレッドの発色を良くするため、ピンクのベースカラーを吹き付けます。
塗装後は1週間以上じっくりと乾燥させ、塗膜をしっかりと安定させます。
Once the gray surfacer has fully dried, a pink base coat is applied to enhance the color and vibrancy of the Ferrari Red.
The parts are then left to cure thoroughly for more than a week, allowing the paint film to fully stabilize.
